KAMBO
Ancestral medicine, responsibly held in a modern context
What is KAMBO?
Kambo is a dried secretion from the Giant Monkey Frog (Phyllomedusa bicolor), native to the Amazon rainforest. The secretion is gently collected from the frog’s skin without causing harm and has been used for centuries by various Indigenous Amazonian tribes as a medicine for purification, strengthening, and resilience of the body, mind, and spirit. In traditional practice, kambo is applied topically through small superficial burns on the skin, allowing the medicine to enter the lymphatic system.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?
Traditionally and anecdotally, kambo has been used to support individuals experiencing a wide range of physical and emotional challenges, including:
Chronic pain
Depression and anxiety
Addiction
Fatigue and inflammation
Migraines
Infections
Autoimmune conditions
Neurodegenerative conditions
Fertility challenges
Kambo is widely regarded as a powerful anti-inflammatory and is known for its antimicrobial, antifungal, and antiviral properties. It is also believed to support immune system regulation and assist the liver and gallbladder in detoxification processes. Its analgesic properties have been noted as significant due to the presence of opioid-like peptides.
Beyond the physical body, kambo often works on emotional, mental, and energetic levels. Many recipients report experiences of emotional release, increased clarity, and the surfacing of unresolved trauma, both physical and emotional, making kambo a deeply holistic and integrative medicine.
